This report addresses the potential use of wood in Scotland for different energy purposes, in terms of possible prioritising specific uses, mainly from the perspective of comparative greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

This was achieved by using existing sources of information and life cycle assessment, chiefly in the form of MS Excel workbooks.
