This ten-year management plan template is designed for woodlands that are being funded under the Forestry Grant Scheme (FGS) Woodland Improvement Grant (WIG) Woods In and Around Towns (WIAT) Urban Woodland Management Plan Grant.

This plan template should also be used for all sites where you will be applying for WIG – WIAT or Sustainable Management of Forests (SMF) - WIAT grant options. However, for planned new woodlands or woodlands less than 10 years old some sections of this plan will not be applicable.
