This is an exciting time for the Woodland Carbon Code, the UK’s first globally-endorsed carbon standard. It is leading the delivery of nature-based solutions to the climate emergency, and benefiting local communities across the UK.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, organised and flexible person to join the Scottish Forestry Woodland Carbon Code team as Coordinator.
You will be an integral part of the Woodland Carbon Code team by:
- working closely with land managers and project developers as they develop new projects
- improving the way we manage data
- helping us to communicate about the climate-related and other benefits of new woodlands
This role offers opportunities to help shape the future of the Woodland Carbon Code and to work in one of the most dynamic parts of the forest sector.
The positions are based in Scotland but the location can be flexible, with some travel to our Edinburgh office.
